UK Industry charity, Music for All, is very proud to announce that Musikmesse have just become a Sponsor in the start of a new and ongoing relationship.
Music for All is run by volunteers from the industry and all monies raised go directly into programmes and activities that support the mission of “Making More Musicians”
The charity does this by:
- Donating instruments and music tuition to individuals who need our help.
- Making grants available to address the musical needs of community music groups and educational organisations.
- Bringing free of charge ‘Learn to Play’ experiences to people of all ages and backgrounds.
- Promoting the life changing benefits of music making.
Group Show Director, Michael Biwer said:
“Helping to generate enthusiasm for music making is a valuable contribution to society. As organisers of the international fair for the music industry, we consider it to be particularly important to introduce people of all ages to the pleasure of playing a musical instrument. To this end, we not only play an active role in projects for young people at Musikmesse but also support exemplary initiatives such as ‘Music For All‘. With activities such as ‘Learn to Play Day’, this charity attracts widespread attention to the positive effects of music making and helps thousands of people take their first steps towards learning an instrument”.
MfA CEO, Paul McManus said:
“The MIA has had a long and fruitful relationship with the Musikmesse organisation and we are absolutely delighted that they have chosen to help our charity to enable us to make and support even more musicians”
