We are pleased to reveal that drumming superstars Jimmy Chamberlin and Kaz Rodriguez will perform at the London Drum Show 2017.

Jimmy Chamberlin is widely known as the former drummer for the alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins. Jimmy is still extremely active musically, working with jazz legend Frank Catalano and with the Jimmy Chamberlin Complex. He will perform on the Main Stage on Sunday and inspiring visitors on the Education Zone Stage on Saturday.

Kaz Rodriguez, renowned session drummer, clinician and composer, will bring his unbelievable chops to the Main Stage on Saturday at LDS. In recent years he has made fans of drumming superstars like Travis Barker, Aaron Spears, Tony Royster and Chris Coleman and become perhaps the most talked about drummer in the industry. Kaz wowed on the LDS stages back in 2015, and we are thrilled to be welcoming him back.

We have also recently launched a brand new website – check it out at www.londondrumshow.com.

You can find details here of a whole host of new features for the 2017 show, from vintage drums you can check out to finding out more about soundproofing. If it’s performances you want, we have not only the Main, Masterclass and Education stages, but also the Rhythm Technique stage which will be focussed on tuition, with the magazine’s own Lessons CD team in attendance, plus guest tutors to be announced.

As always, the show will offer a huge Gear Hall floor packed with all the kit and accessories you could wish for. Massive drum brands Tama, Zildjian, Schlagwerk and Roland have confirmed already, and you can also expect to see new and exciting exhibitors from independent drum maker Bristol Drum Company to dedicated musician’s health company Active Functional Music.

The show is set to be the ultimate drumming event of the year, so don’t miss out! Early Bird tickets are on sale now from just £17.50, and 50p from every ticket we sell will be donated to Music For All, the charity of the UK musical instrument industry.
