Independent drum makers flock to The London Drum Show

|

The new Indie Drum Makers feature at the London Drum Show 2017 is attracting a whole host of independent companies, each bringing something unique and exciting to the show.

Specialised solid wood drum makers Bristol Drum Co were the first to sign up, and in the past week Beatbox Drums, Zebra Drums, The Green Drum Co., Ossi Percussion and 101 Drums have all confirmed that they will showcase their gear at the show.

Make sure you plan in some time over the weekend to peruse Bristol Drum Co’s handcrafted snares, The Green Drum Co’s totally unique drums that don’t cost the earth, and Ossi Percussion’s west African instruments built with Finnish wood know-how.

You will want to see how Beatbox Drums fit high-quality kits into a neat little box, and 101 Drums’ method of building shells from a wood-like composite which will not change over time or be affected by humidity and warmth.

Zebra Drums will display their unconventional drums which are built from an engineering point of view together with some plain simple logic. Zebra’s drums aim to offer more to the drummer in terms of sound, tuning, tuning range and playability.

The show is set to be the ultimate drumming event of the year, so don’t miss out! Grab your Advance tickets now – 50p from every ticket we sell will be donated to Music For All, the charity of the UK musical instrument industry.
