• To consider the relevance of new technologies that could help our industry grow.
• To pilot and trial new technologies where appropriate.
• To act as a point of reference for our members on appropriate technologies. |
Comment |

The Committee works to analyse the rapid changes in new technologies and recognise their potential on our industry. The resulting relevance has to be considered against the vast technology differences that exist amongst retailers in the UK. |
Projects |
• Working with the POS suppliers to find recommended packages for our members.
• Trialing XML technology between suppliers and retailers.
• Keeping a constant monitor on the growth in Internet retailing. |
