You will all be aware of the recent revelations and general media coverage that has been generated further to the Harvey Weinstein case.
Clearly what has been taking place is shocking and unacceptable. A (sort of) positive outcome appears to be that people are now finding the confidence to come out and talk about their experiences.
Sad to say, there is considerable evidence that the music sector is far from immune to harassment in the workplace.
Both the Musicians’ Union and ISM have recently published information on the treatment of people and musicians in the workplace.
