Hiwatt Electronics Ltd. UK has established new manufacturing facilities in the U.K.. We have recruited an experienced team headed up by Kee Mayer, to hand build our custom shop amplifiers to the military specification that Hiwatt’s reputation and history was built on.
The Musikmesse show, April 11-14th in Frankfurt, will showcase the new company – Hall 9.0 , Stand 20.
Mitch Colby, music industry veteran, will be on hand and is helping steer the new company. Along with the traditional Hiwatt Custom Shop amplifier line there are new offerings like the DR401 – a 400W tube bass amplifier head Hiwatt is also proud to announce our partnership with Gary Hurst. The first re-issue pedals by Gary are the Fuzz King and Octa Fuzz. The “Fuzzman” himself will be on the stand and we plan to re-issue all the ground breaking pedals he pioneered.
We re-invented the Maxwatt brand as a new “Hi-gain”, hand wired, sibling of Hiwatt. This new sound and direction is courtesy of new chief design engineer, Mike Fortin. The new Maxwatt Custom Super-HI 50 is a four gain stage hand wired Fortin creation, designed for maximum grind. There is also the companion Maxwatt Custom Shop Super-HI 2×12+1×15 Cabinet for maximum bottom end – bass or guitar.
We are seeking distributors world wide for Hiwatt and Maxwatt. We are also seeking dealers in the UK.
