The Future of Music Retail: Online Training goes live

As this is published we are returning from our successful “Future of Music Retail” MIA funded workshop tour of the UK; training in London, Coventry, Leeds and Manchester.

The purpose of the tour was to equip store and branch mangers with the coaching skills required to drive change in their store sales teams.  We tackled every day situations store managers face whilst trying to motivate and drive their sales teams.

To support this endeavour, we go live today with registration for our online training platform, designed for front-line retail sales people.

2x hours of training resources, free to MIA Retail Members covering:

  • Add-on sales
  • Identifying additional margin opportunities
  • Selling add-on services
  • Handling price objections

The course has been written and recorded by Corin Birchall of Kerching Retail and addresses, head on, the skills, specific phrases and approaches staff can adopt to improve conversion and profitability in retail stores.

The eLearning works on all popular browsers and devices meaning staff can develop and learn new skills at a time that suits them, in bite-sized chunks.

How to access the training:

The training is accessed through an eLearning platform, which tests understanding of concepts along the learning journey.

The majority of the content is short bite-sized video clips.

Each MIA retail member outlet/branch has access to 1x login for the store team.

Content can be watched as many times as required

Visit the following link to register for the training, free of charge to MIA members, £149+VAT for non MIA member businesses.

NB: Registration is live from today, Course content will go live from Monday 16th July 2018.
