Rhythm to return with major investment in the magazine and the brand’s growing digital channels
New owner Lifestyle Media House set to invest in the market leading media brand with the recent acquisition of the Rhythm title and its channel assets, including the popular YouTube Rhythm channel with 40,000 subscribers, Lifestyle Media House will relaunch the magazine and plans major investment in the brand’s already significant digital reach.
“This is obviously an incredibly exciting time for us and we are looking forward to getting started,” explained Director, Rob Last. “In addition to the magazine itself, the Rhythm brand already has a massive digital reach – through its digital edition, YouTube and social channels – and our plans to grow and develop these on a global level makes this so much more than a mere magazine relaunch. With a 2020 London based event also in our plans”
Editorial Director, Louise King, commented: “Rhythm has sat at the very heart of the UK drum community for over 30 years and I’m thrilled to be back on board. Now is the time to expand and develop the brand on a global scale, working closely with the industry, manufacturers, distributors, dealers and artists, to deliver targeted, comprehensive, high-quality content to drummers and percussionists around the world.”
Last added, “As an agency we can see how the Rhythm brand, with its independent content, can help us work effectively with clients and support the industry as a whole. On a personal level, Louise and I are really looking forward to working closely with the great people involved in this industry again and building a talented Rhythm team to take this key brand to the next level.”
