Aguilar Amplification is proud to announce their 2020 Limited Edition SL Series cabinet colour – “Royal Purple”…

Each Royal Purple SL Series cabinet features a custom “Limited Edition 2020” label on the crossover and comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity. They are available in the UK in the following one-off limited quantities: 8 x SL 112 (8 ohm), 2 x SL115 (4 ohm), 2 x SL115 (8 ohm), 2 x SL210 (4 ohm), 2 x SL210 (8 ohm), 2 x SL212 (4 ohm), 2 x SL212 (8 ohm), 2 x SL410x (4 ohm) and 2 x SL410x (8 ohm).

The 11.3 kg SL 112 cabinet features a neodymium driver with a custom-designed crossover. The SL 112 also uses a phenolic tweeter with variable level control and a frequency response ranging from 37 Hz – 16 kHz. These cabinets are an inspiring blend of modern technology with a classic vibe.

At only 22.2 kg, the SL 410x is almost half the weight of a traditional 410 bass cabinet! This cabinet is available in 4 or 8 ohm configurations and can handle 800 watts RMS. It also features four custom-voiced woofers with Neodymium magnets, a phenolic tweeter with variable level control and a frequency response of 44 Hz – 16 kHz.

The Limited Edition Royal Purple range also includes SL 115 and SL 212 cabinets as well as the latest award-winning addition to the series – the SL 210 cab. Voted ‘Best Cabinet 2019’ by Bass Guitar Magazine, the SL 210 is designed for small and medium sized venues and delivers a tight and punchy low-end with excellent midrange articulation. Weighing only 15.4kg, it offers the perfect lightweight and portable cabinet without sacrificing any of the legendary “Aguilar Sound”.

The Royal Purple SL Series cabinets will get their official international unveiling by Aguilar Amplification at booth 5625 at NAMM 2020 this month. With retail prices starting from £999.00 they are available in the UK and Ireland now from authorised Aguilar retailers via exclusive UK distributors Barnes & Mullins.
