Industry Charity Music for All has launched the #444challenge on Social Media. Some famous faces have now got involved in the ‘Battle of the Broadcasters!’
The musical battle of the lockdown is Music for All Ambassador & Channel 4’s Cathy Newman versus journalist and broadcaster Alastair Campbell. This musical head to head is now on its third round with Alastair on bagpipes and Cathy on violin! Click here to see the battle.
Throughout COVID-19 isolation, everyone has become aware of the supportive and stimulating power of music. Although many people want to learn, they have no access to musical instruments or tuition.
How can your business help Music for All to support disadvantaged musicians?
By participating in our 444 challenge, people can have fun and help Music for All to raise much needed funds to support those with financial or access difficulties to making music.
Here’s how the 444 Challenge works:
- Record yourself playing at least one minute of your favourite piece of music and post it on social media – remember to tag us! Please include the following Hashtags: #MusicforAll and #444challenge
- Donate £4 to Music for All via the Just Giving page – www.justgiving.com/campaign/444 – and ask you friends to show their appreciation by donating £4 too.
- Tag/nominate 4 friends to take on the challenge
Share the 444 Challenge with your customers/network: Show Music for All some support on Social Media, you could share this post on Facebook, or retweet this tweet on Twitter and encourage your followers to give it a go.
Or, even better…
Give it a go yourself! If you’re brave enough to join in on social media, we’d love to see your videos. Please do share the challenge with your company team too. This is a great way to personalise your brand and connect with customers, show them the musicians behind the business!
If your brand has any celebrity friends that are musicians, please do let them know about the challenge. Music for All want to spread the 444 Challenge far and wide to help support as many disadvantaged musicians as possible.
