HR Guidance for re-opening music shops

The Government have announced that non-essential retailers, including music shops, are planned to re-open in England from 15 June. As we get ready to re-open music retail, the safety, security and management of the people working in our industry is central to our thinking. Musical Instrument Hygiene

We are now working towards the re-opening of music retail in the UK. As well as the general hygiene of the store, retailers face the extra responsibility of ensuring that the instruments on sale are clean and safe for consumers. MIA Member John Packer Ltd interviews the legendary Denis Wick!

While the showroom has remained shut during the lockdown John Packer Ltd has pledged a commitment to keep inspiring their customers by hosting live webinars where customers can get technical advice from professionals in the business. So far the company has spoken to two up and coming Yamaha artists, (Matilda Lloyd and Rob Burton – both finalists in the BBC Young Musician competitions) and will be speaking to the living legend Denis Wick next Wednesday, June 3rd at 8pm.
