Tom Griggs, owner of Icon Music is looking to take his business in a new direction as he prepares for challenging times ahead .
He is seeking to boarden the appeal of his shop. From Saturday 27th June the name Icon Music will change to Icon UK – Music, Merch & More.
Mr Griggs said: “To secure a future for the business, we need to diversify and offer a whole range of products that have wider appeal.”
“Specialist shops can be intimidating, but our door is open to all. Over the past few years we have been steadily building up our range of products. We now have T-shirts, hoodies, shirts, caps, jewellery and other attire.
“It’s not just music based, we also have a rail of classic film and TV character merch and a broad selection of gifts as well as headphones & wireless speakers with a testing station so you can try before you buy.
As well as putting COVID-19 measures in place to keep customers safe, Tom has been busy reorganising the window displays and showrooms to reflect the shift of emphasis.
