Meters Music diversifies into gaming with launch of brand new gaming headset: Level Up

Meters Music, the British music and audio innovator, is expanding its product range and diversifying into gaming with the introduction of its first-ever, flagship gaming headset, named Level Up. Designed and engineered in the UK, Level Up will provide gamers with the highest quality sound experience, stepping even closer to the gameplay experience and offering the player an audio advantage over their rival…

Set to launch this month in October, Level Up marks the ambitious expansion plans for the premium audio brand and will see it develop a broader customer base.

The expansion into gaming is a strategic business move to support Meters’ goal of becoming a globally recognised brand within the headphone market. Level Up will expand the brand’s reach to a wider, lifestyle audience – going beyond music fans.

The new Level Up headset delivers a fully immersive and impressive, virtual 7.1 surround sound performance and is equipped with a detachable, high-performance microphone – enabling clear communication while in gameplay. Compatible with all PCs, laptops, PS4s and the Xbox, the headset can be easily plugged in via a USB outlet or a headset connector which helps to deliver zero latency in the audio.

Mark Gooday, Founder & Managing Director of Meters Music, commented: “Gaming is an attractive sector to expand into and this new product supports our long-term growth plans. We’ve produced an outstanding product and we can’t wait for more people to enjoy Meters. We have been busy this year developing and planning a number of new product releases which we will be revealed over the coming months. Our latest product development is a testament to our R&D department who are constantly innovating our product catalogue.”

Weighing in at just 320 grams, this lightweight headset is both comfortable to wear but also has been designed to be durable for the serious gamer in mind. It features Meters’ signature fully functioning VU meters which not only react and move in real-time to the incoming audio signal, but are also RGB illuminated. They can be adjusted to the player’s favourite colour, controlled via the accompanying remote which also allows for volume control and turning the microphone on or off.

Taking gaming to the next level, the flagship gaming headset, Level Up, is a high-performance audio innovation and is part of a range of exciting product releases for 2020. Available in carbon, silver and red, the headset will be priced at £99. For more information, please visit
