Government announces new £20m SME Brexit Support Fund

|

The fund offers support to help small businesses that trade with the EU adjust to new customs, rules of origin, and VAT rules.

The SME Brexit Support Fund is open to SMEs who only trade with the EU, and are therefore new to importing and exporting processes that will apply from April and July this year.

The fund will provide grants of up to £2,000 for each business to pay for practical support, including training and professional advice to ensure they can continue trading effectively with the EU. To be eligible your business must turnover less than £100million and have no more than 500 employees.
