Next Week: Music Industry Department for International Trade and UK Export Finance Webinar

|

As part of the MIA’s new relationships with Government, we are delighted to be partnering with the Department for International Trade and UK Export Finance to present an export webinar especially for the music industry. This event is happening on Tuesday 2nd March at 4:00pm.

In our recent survey, we established that over 85% of MIA retailers and suppliers are exporters. Post Brexit, the Government is providing additional support and funding for exporters and in this session we’ll be exploring how these can help music industry businesses. Of particular interest will be the new General Export Facility from UK Export Finance.

We will be joined by Pete Chapman who is an International Trade Adviser at the Department for International Trade and music industry specialist. We will also be joined by Jane Cooper, the Export Finance Manager for UK Export Finance. The session will be moderated by the Chair of the MIA Board, Steven Greenall.

The presentation will cover:

  • An overview of the Department for International Trade’s role
  • Finding an International Trade Adviser
  • Export Champions
  • Funding and Support for Exporters
  • The Tradeshow Access Programme
  • UK Export Finance’s General Export Facility
There will also be a Q&A session with Pete Chapman and Jane Cooper.
