This week’s MIA ‘drop-in session’: re-opening music retail

We are pleased to announce a new support initiative from the MIA. Every Friday at 10am, we will be giving you the opportunity to join with other industry colleagues and discuss the issues affecting you and your business.

This week, we want to talk about the re-opening of music retail stores.

Latest Government guidance suggests that non-essential retail could be permitted as early as mid-March. The British Retail Consortium (BRC) and the Independent Retailers Confederation (IRC) are both considering lobbying Government to provide clarity around this timeline to allow retailers time to prepare for re-opening.

We would like to get your thoughts on whether this is necessary, or if you would rather just be able to open as soon as possible. Are you requiring any additional support, or is it just a question of opening the doors?

Any information that you can share will help shape the discussion with the Minister for Small Business, Paul Scully that the MIA has secured in a couple of weeks.

These sessions are really informal and open to any business operating across the MI sector.
