This Week’s MIA ‘drop-in session’ – The Young Professionals Network

|

We are pleased to announce a new support initiative from the MIA. Every Friday at 10am, we will be giving you the opportunity to join with other industry colleagues and discuss the issues affecting you and your business.

The MIA have set up a network to provide young professionals the opportunity to engage, discuss and socialise. This network is also used to communicate and advocate for the issues which are affecting music industry young professionals.

As well as presenting the opportunity for networking and socialising, the young professionals network will provide training, group and 1-2-1 mentoring, and the chance to input on MIA policy and campaigns. The network is free to join, and open to anyone under the age of 40 who works in the MI industry.

At this Friday’s drop-in session, we’d be pleased to welcome anyone who would like to know more about the initiative, or indeed join the network. (Please note: you don’t need to be a Young Professional yourself to come along!)

For this session, we are delighted to be joined by Clive Bawden, the owner of Governance360. Governance360 helps make running an organisation less risky, more accountable and more productive. The platform offers Bitesize CPD accredited flexible learning for leaders who want to sustain growth, improve productivity, and mitigate risk. This is an example of the kind of training that the MIA could offer to Young Professionals.
