We are excited to announce a series of HR training courses commissioned from The HR Point as part of the MI Academy launch. We have worked with The HR Point and Managing Director Nicky Gleadow for many years, and we are pleased to draw on their expertise as part of our training offer.
We have designed these courses to empower you through knowledge of the basic principles and to help you identify when to seek further advice.
Here’s an overview of the 2-hour sessions:

- Key employment laws to be aware of
Managing People Essentials
- Managing employees in probation
- How to deal with under-performance
- How to conduct appraisals / reviews
- How to set goals and objectives
- Relevant employment laws to be aware of
Dealing with Difficult HR Situations
- How to deal with problem employees
- How to deal with disciplinary issues
- How to deal with dismissals – including redundancies
- Relevant employment laws to be aware of
These sessions will be held on Zoom. Numbers will be limited to 10 people per session to ensure a collaborative and interactive atmosphere, and sessions will be repeated to fulfil demand.
