MI Academy – a new training initiative from the MIA
The MIA is excited to announce the launch of a brand new initiative focussed on knowledge sharing; the MI Academy. This will become an umbrella for the wide variety of sessions offered by the organisation resulting in a body of knowledge that can be accessed on demand. Find out more at the link above
The MIA launches HR Training for Members
We are excited to announce a series of HR training courses commissioned from The HR Point as part of the MI Academy launch. We have worked with The HR Point and Managing Director Nicky Gleadow for many years, and we are pleased to draw on their expertise as part of our training offer.
Restart Grant – Have you applied?
The Restart Grant is a one-off payment to support businesses in England in re-opening safely following lockdown. The scheme is very relevant to our industry, with a tier aimed specifically at ‘non-essential’ retail. If you haven’t yet applied, we would encourage you to do so. Find out more here
