What to expect at tomorrow’s MIA drop-in session

Every Friday at 10am, our drop-in sessions give you the opportunity to join with other industry colleagues and discuss the issues affecting you and your business.

This week, many of you will be busy preparing for the Bank Holiday Weekend. We’ll be opening up our session to hear your experiences since non-essential retail has been allowed to re-open.

We’ve got a few things on our minds, including the Government consultation on how landlords and tenants are responding to the build-up of rent arrears that has occurred as a result of businesses being unable to trade normally during the pandemic. This will be raised as an agenda item in our meeting with the Minister for Small Business, Paul Scully MP, in the coming weeks.

We are also opening up the drop-in this week to talk about any questions you might have about renewing your MIA membership or joining us as a member for the first time.

These Zoom sessions are really informal and open to any business operating across the MI sector.

If you would like to join the session taking place this Friday at 10am, please contact alice@mia.org.uk
