MIA Webinar this Thursday: Shaping the musicians of tomorrow

We’re excited to announce an MIA webinar on the DfE’s recently published Model Music Curriculum. There will be a positive focus on how our industry can be part of building on the MMC as a starting point in developing and widening opportunities for young people to engage with music – vital for encouraging and supporting the next generation of musicians and music lovers, and a key pillar of the MIA.

We’re delighted to have four panellists with direct, current and diverse experience of music education and the wider music industry, each of whom will be able to make a valuable contribution:

  • Tim Bennett-Hart, RSL
  • James Manwaring, Director of Music for Windsor Learning Partnership
  • Roger Wilson, Black Lives In Music
  • Chris Fower, Warwick Music

The panel discussion will be followed by a chance for you to ask questions, and we’re sure you will find this an interesting and stimulating conversation to be part of.

The date for your diary is Thursday 6th May, and the webinar will take place at 5pm on Zoom.
