Pent-up demand or perfect storm?

Every Friday at 10am, our drop-in sessions give you the opportunity to join with other industry colleagues and discuss the issues affecting you and your business.

There is a possibility we are heading toward a crunch point for retail as the country continues its post pandemic journey. Each time non-essential retail has reopened the initial upsurge has been replaced by shopping habits that are based more on necessity and need rather than as a leisure or social activity.

For the drop-in session this week we would like to share some of the most recent data around shopping trends and footfall and discuss whether the high street is recovering fast enough to ensure its prosperity as government support packages come to a close.

We will be interested in your experiences so far and whether you feel that you will be able to afford to maintain your current offer at the point when schemes such as furlough end.

These Zoom sessions are really informal and open to any business operating across the MI sector.
