The Government has launched its strategy to revitalise the post-COVID High Street and make it both click-proof and community focussed. Is it fit for purpose?
We thought we would take a deeper dive into the Governments plans to reshape the High Street in this week’s drop-in session.
The strategy document itself was published with a fairly low-key launch on the 15th July, the kind of splash that perhaps only Tom Daley would have been proud of. There is no doubt it’s a glossy document and it’s full of the trademark slogans you would expect – but does it pack a proper punch?
We will begin the session by summarising the key themes, before asking whether it is on the right track and how it could work to support the music instrument stores of the future.

Every Friday at 10am, the MIA’s drop-in sessions give you the opportunity to join with other industry colleagues and discuss the issues affecting you and your business. These sessions are really informal and are open to both members and non-members of the MIA.
If you’d like to drop-in, please contact Alice and she’ll send you the joining information via email.
