Is Distance Selling becoming more fraudulent?

Every Friday at 10am, our drop-in sessions give you the opportunity to join with other industry colleagues and discuss the issues affecting you and your business.

The pandemic has resulted in many retailers embracing a variety of distance selling options as they discovered new ways of interacting with consumers and fulfilling sales.

In most cases, payment is taken remotely and via credit card, and this is causing an alarming rise in fraudulent transactions and credit card charge-backs.

We are scoping a project to see how we can support the industry through education of the problem, and understanding what recourse is available should you become a victim of such practices. As such, we are keen to hear your examples and what information you’ve been given to help protect yourself.

These Zoom sessions are really informal and open to any business operating across the MI sector.

If you would like to join the session taking place this Friday at 10am, please contact Matt
