Every Friday at 10am, our drop-in sessions give you the opportunity to join with other industry colleagues and discuss the issues affecting you and your business.
This week we’ll be discussing the benefits of the Green Street project, and the 6 planet friendly principles at its core. Green Street is a guide for smaller retailers & hospitality businesses to slash their carbon footprint and become more sustainable as quickly as possible.
The guide has been produced as part of the work of the Retail Sector Council, which is a body of around 24 retailers of all types and sizes who work together in a non-competitive way to promote and grow UK retail. This is Co-Chaired by Richard Pennycook and the Retail Minister in BEIS, Paul Scully MP.
This topic dovetails well with the environmental issues raised when we brought the industry together last month. We’d like to hear your thoughts on Green Street and to open up the floor for discussion between retailers of all sizes regarding plans to reduce carbon emissions in the coming years.
These Zoom sessions are really informal and open to any business operating across the MI sector.
