Back in April this year, we announced the launch of a brand new initiative focused on knowledge sharing; the miacademy.
This has become an umbrella for the wide variety of training sessions offered by the MIA, resulting in a body of knowledge to support your business.
These miacademy sessions are being offered in a number of formats; including on-demand audio & video, group sessions – either virtual or face to face, expert led webinars and hosted panel discussions.
Current training opportunities include: Disability Awareness Training for retailers (online training modules and live group sessions), Safeguarding in a retail setting (online training modules) and Creative Social Media Courses (on-demand videos). You can find out more about this content here
As the initiative develops, members will be able to shape the content that is offered to ensure it remains relevant, and that is the focus of our drop-in session this Friday.
We’re starting to plan our training courses for early 2022, and this week’s drop-in session will be based around the simple question – what training would be of most value to your business, and in what format? We’re looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
These sessions are really informal and open to any business operating across the MI sector.
If you would like to join the session taking place this Friday at 10am, please contact matt@mia.org.uk
