Music Education Post-Pandemic: the teaching & learning reality in schools, music centres, educational organisations and music shops

We’re pleased to invite you to an interactive online event from the Music Industries Association that aims to explore what life is like on the ground at the access points children have to music learning.

Music educators and their students are the lifeblood of our industry, both today and in the future. The music education landscape is constantly changing. Today’s teachers are today’s customers, today’s parents are today’s customers, and today’s students are tomorrow’s customers. Understanding the realities of music education is key to recruiting and maintaining those customers by responding to changing needs and developments.

At this zoom conference, you will hear from a variety of speakers from both education and industry, including a Primary School Class Teacher, a Primary Music Co-ordinator, a Secondary Head of Department, and an Ensemble Leader. We’ll also hear from MI Retailers and Suppliers who are involved with providing Music Education products and services.

This zoom session will take place on Wednesday 10th November at 2pm-3:30pm. Participants are encouraged to both listen to the contributors and join in with the live discussion. We hope to share some actions that you can take to maximise the benefits and opportunities of engaging with music education.
