GAK management are pleased to announce the acquisition this week of the Mad About Music Group, including Tiger Music Distribution and DJM Music, backed by Risk Capital Partners.
Mad About Music founders Darren and Leisa Mennie have spent the last 19 years building a family of musical instrument and accessory brands where quality and value for money are the cornerstone of the company’s success.
Max Mckellar and Ian Stephens, GAK Co-MDs, are very excited about working with the highly knowledgeable and experienced Mad About Music team to maximize the evident growth opportunities in their current sales channels whilst fast tracking their ambitions for GAKs own brand strategy.
The introduction of the Mad About Music brands and products will extend the width and breadth of the GAK product offering particularly in the entry-level categories, this will also help drive growth through the GAK Education sales channel. In the medium term, this approach will be complemented by the launch of additional products under GAK’s brands, to build further on GAK’s loyal customer following.
