‘Living with COVID’ and the MI Sector

‘Living with COVID’ and the MI Sector

The Government announced yesterday details of its plan for ‘Living with COVID’ .

The new guidelines will raise questions such as:

  • How can you make your staff and customers feel safe and comfortable?
  • Are there still ways that you can encourage staff to stay at home if they are unwell?
  • What kind of policies and procedures can you put in place to offer clarity in your business?

Our HR expert Nicky Gleadow will be on hand to discuss and offer some guidance.

Here’s a summary of the key points from the ‘Living with COVID’ plan:

  • Ending the legal requirement to self-isolate following a positive test result from 24th February.
  • Ending the legal requirement to test for 7 days after coming into contact with someone who has tested positive from 24th February.
  • End of routine contact tracing from 24th February.
  • Ending of free testing (exception for those who are vulnerable to COVID-19, and some high-risk spaces) from 1st April.
  • Ending of recommendations that certain venues use the NHS COVID Pass from 1st April.

If you’d like to come along, you can register to attend this week’s session here.  These sessions are really informal and open to any business operating across the MI sector.
