First established in Melbourne, Australia in 1972, Valencia Guitars reflected a vision to provide student guitarists with instruments that had ease of play, were of excellent quality, made to the highest possible manufacturing standards and represented fantastic value for money. For 50 years, and under the ownership of Founder & President of Australasian Music Supplies (AMS) Kevin Hague, these four distinct attributes have remained at the heart of its culture.
In 1999, Australia’s No. 1 selling Valencia Guitar, made its much-acclaimed international debut at the Frankfurt Musikmesse. Since then, Valencia Guitars have grown immensely in popularity and are now sold in 85 countries, becoming the No. 1 selling nylon string classic guitar brand in many countries and arguably, the world.
Valencia Guitars are expertly crafted in its company owned, purpose-built manufacturing plant in Surabaya, Indonesia and in selected factories in Southern China.
