After shipping from a central European warehouse over the last 18 months, this marks a return to UK warehousing and logistics for many of the brands that the company represents. Simon Lowther, MD of Soundservice-MSL in the UK said “We have an office in Berkshire, a UK based sales team, and now we offer fast UK based logistics too. This is clearly a big investment for SoundService into the UK, and a strong endorsement of the importance placed on the UK business by the European wide Soundservice group”. The company added, that it hopes customers will see these changes as helping make business together faster and more efficient for the future.
The brands affected by this move back to UK located logistics are,
Zoom, Markbass/DV Mark, Studiologic, Softube, Studio Electronics synthesisers, Dixon drums and JoeCo black box recorders.
For the time being, the popular ESP and LTD guitars will continue to be fulfilled from the European warehouse. But moving these into the UK warehouse is also planned for the future as the global supply chain improves.
