New Roland Showroom Opens in Iconic Central London Location

Roland Corporation, together with Outernet London, announce the opening of a brand-new Roland Store—a cutting-edge music showroom in the heart of London’s iconic Denmark Street.

Roland, who celebrate their 50th anniversary this year, operate through a network of music dealers and store-in-store locations in the UK, Europe, and around the globe. The latest Roland Store is part of a global strategy to deliver exceptional creative experiences for musicians, in a dedicated, full-scale retail environment.

Customers at Roland Store London can experience an extensive range of Roland and BOSS products currently not available in central London. Roland also plan to include regular onsite workshops and masterclasses—along with 121 aftersales care sessions with the aim to help music makers get the most from their gear. The store will also include Roland’s proprietary ASX, where the store’s lighting, audio and video content are tailored to customers’ tastes.

The store will be staffed by Roland Product Specialists who will be on hand to help visitors learn, create, and perform. The store will also serve as a convenient central London hub for Roland and BOSS artists to check out the latest releases, in addition to Roland’s main Artist Centre at Metropolis Studios, Chiswick.

David Vazquez, CEO of Roland Europe says “We’re delighted to be able to support our customers in central London, and our retail partners nationwide, by showcasing an exciting range of Roland and BOSS products in a brand new Denmark Street showroom.

Having retailed in central London previously, both in Harrods and the Virgin Megastore, we’re excited to return to this iconic music location. Our aim is to once again let musicians experience a wider range of products not currently available in central London.”

Outernet London is an immersive media, music, and culture district, at the heart of which is The Now Building—the world’s most advanced experiential public space, featuring 23,000 square feet of floor-to-celling screens. Within the district is Here, a new 2,000 capacity live events venue and a smaller venue called The Lower Third.  Also set to open is The BPI Recording Studio, a professional quality pro-bono studio and already open is the unique Denmark Street apartments and session rooms of Chateau Denmark. Music lies at the heart of Outernet London. Situated on Denmark Street, the area is often described as the birthplace of the British music industry, where iconic artists such as Elton John, The Rolling Stones, Sex Pistols and David Bowie hung out, made music, and lived.

The store is now open at 10 Denmark Street, London—a fitting celebration of Roland 50th Anniversary.
