We’re pleased to share with our members a directory of British physical bricks & mortar retail music stores, set against a historical context of those that were around 100 or more years ago.
This report provides a comprehensive listing of all Physical Music Stores in Britain as of the beginning 2022, with comparisons to stores in 2018 & c1914. It certainly shares an interesting historical perspective.
The report is written by Dr Mark Pulman, who lectures in Music at University Centre Colchester.
