The MI Forum: What happens next?

The MIA Forum for this year is laser-focused on dealing with the challenges we are facing right now.

About this event

The path out of the pandemic has not been as smooth as everybody had hoped for. In some respects, the immediate future is no clearer than it was a year ago. Now is the time to re-group and prepare for what happens next.

And that is what the MIA Forum for this year is fully focused on.

We have planned a full day of panel discussions, expert insight and practical workshops which we hope will support, stimulate and equip you for the challenges to come.

The agenda will be split over two rooms, with one being focused on forward thinking discussion of the immediate issues facing the sector and the other more hands-on sessions around up-skilling. Highlights include:

  • Panel Discussion: Trading through a cost of living crisis
  • Workshop: Introduction to the new MIA initative on Shop Floor Sales Training
  • Launch: MI State Of The Industry Report and analysis
  • Update: Changes to Competition Law and how they support bricks & mortar retailing
  • Keynote: Turbocharge your team through positive engagement

Sessions will overlap, so if you want to get the most from the day, you might want to consider bringing a colleague.

To make it as easy as possible for you to attend, we have made the decision to host the day at The Custard Factory in Digbeth, Birmingham. The venue is a short walk from Birmingham New Street Station and easy to access by car.

Early Bird discounts are available all the way through September, saving you up to £20 a ticket.

You can reserve your spot here. We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday 19th October.
