The MIA has been invited by the Department of Education and Arts Council England to consult on the £25m of new funding for Musical Instruments announced as part of the revised National Plan for Music Education. You can read more about this story here
As part of the process Executive Director Anthony Short has been contributing to a Task & Finish Group, the outcome of which is to put forward a proposal to the DfE in regard to the structure of the spending framework that will be adopted by Government.
If you would like to understand a little more about this process, and how in may influence your behaviour as a supplier to the Education sector then please join Anthony for a Drop-In session on this topic on Friday the 25th November at 10am.
These sessions are really informal and allow the MIA to share details of the projects we are working on and get your feedback. Because of the nature of the data being shared this week, this drop-in is open to MIA members only.
