Who will be at the Music Industry Plug-In?

BREAKING NEWS: With 3 weeks to go until we bring the annual MIA in-person event to Leeds we wanted to give you a heads up on some of the really influential people who are going to be joining us.

For our ‘Music Education: What’s in store in 2024?’ panel, we are very pleased to be able to confirm that Vicky Timperley, Policy Advisor for the Department for Education will be attending. Vicky is leading on the Government’s £25 million capital investment programme. She will be joined by Hannah Fouracre, who heads up the Arts Council’s Music Education delivery team – co-ordinating the roll out of this funding. This is a unique opportunity to talk directly to two people who are integral to this once in a generation policy.

‘Practical steps towards sustainability will feature Anthony Daly from ClimateEQ, a specialist in supply chain matters, as well as industry colleagues Mark Rolfe, Managing Director of Yamaha UK, and Andy Land, Head of Sustainability at Focusrite.

Finally, we will be discussing ‘Is there a better go to market model for the MI sector?’ with the help of expert Marc Shrimpling, who leads UK competition and trade practice at Osborne Clarke LLP.

Early Bird discounts are still available, but they are due to end at 17:30 this coming Friday, 29th September – don’t say we didn’t warn you.
