NAMM 2024: Shergold Guitars ‘Standard Series’ in USA for the first time

Shergold Guitars are delighted to present their ‘Standard Series’ guitars in the USA for the first time at The NAMM Show 2024.

The award-winning British electric guitar brand are giving NAMM attendees the opportunity to get hands on with their Telstar Standard and Provocateur Standard guitars at the Barnes & Mullins booth – Shergold’s parent company – located at booth #6610.

Designed in the UK by British luthier Patrick James Eggle and launched in 2017, Shergold Guitars have received widespread recognition throughout the musical instrument industry and have collected an impressive list of awards along the way, including being voted ‘The UK’s Best Electric Guitar’. Taking their place alongside Shergold’s established Masquerader and Provocateur ‘Classic Series’ guitar range, the new ‘Standard Series’ models introduce a new set of unique characteristics and excellent specification for guitarists to discover at a lower price point.

The Shergold Telstar features a double cut body design with a raised centre section fitted with a double Page FilterSonic humbucker pickup configuration. It features a maple neck with laurel fingerboard and a six in-line colour-matched headstock alongside a solid poplar body, chrome hardware and a fixed, string-through body bridge. The Telstar was voted one of the ‘Best Sub-£500 Electric Guitars of 2023’ by Guitarist Magazine in their Gear of The Year roundup.

Shergold Provocateur Standard models feature a solid poplar body paired with a Canadian maple neck and laurel fingerboard complete with unique lined fret markers. Its single cut body design is matched with a truly vintage scale length (625.5mm / 24.625”) for a guitar with a distinctive vintage voice and feel.
