Today, Matt is saying farewell but not goodbye. Matt is moving on to a new position at Presto Music after 3 years in our Executive Team. Here’s what he has to say…
“It has been great to work on behalf of the industry alongside Alice, Ant, Steven and the MIA Board. I can’t leave Brontë out either! We’ve covered so much ground as an organisation over this time, transforming the MIA into a trade association fit for now and the future. I have no doubt this will continue as the wider climate brings changing needs, and I look forward to seeing this from within a member company. It’s also been a pleasure to build new relationships with people from across the industry, and I look forward to keeping in touch and celebrating our shared love of music.
I’m excited to join the team at Presto Music as Product Manager for Recorded Music. The role capitalises on my knowledge and experience, a fascination with recorded music that stretches back to my childhood, and my continuing passion for musical discovery. It also offers opportunities for building new relationships and for developing new skills and interests in line with my belief in life-long learning. If young Matt knew this was in his future he would have been very happy.
