Stone Jets, Yamaha Music London Ambassadors, to play Glastonbury!

Yamaha Music London, Yamaha’s flagship music store, is thrilled to share that the Stone Jets, Yamaha Music London Ambassadors have won the Pilton Stage 2024 competition and will be performing on one of the prestigious stages at Glastonbury 2024 (26-30 June).

Co-creator of Glastonbury, Sir Michael Eavis was present and part of the judging panel at all the heats and final. In both judging rounds, Sir Michael hotly tipped the Stone Jets choosing them as part of his first choices.

Stephen Davies, Yamaha Music London retail operations manager comments “We are very proud of Given and Manfred, they were already winners in our eyes having won the Ambassadorship here at Yamaha Music London at the end of 2023.  Stone Jets feel-good music and amazing vocals are what the world needs right now.  They will rock Glastonbury!”

Given (Bassist & Lead vocalist) was briefly interviewed by BBC Radio Presenter Andy Bennett – also part of the judging panel. During the interview Andy described Stone Jets’ music as a mix of Funk, Soul and the heart of Ladysmith Black Mambazo.
