Job overview

We are seeking a versatile and enthusiastic Marketing Executive to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment, working across B2B, B2B2C and D2C projects. We have a hybrid working approach, where there is flexibility to work from home with a requirement to work from our Milton Keynes based HQ a minimum of 3 days a week.

Key responsibilities

The scope and breadth of this role is exciting. Working with some of the biggest brands in the musical instrument industry on a wide range of always-on, adhoc, and campaign marketing activities; alongside day-to-day organisational and administrative tasks.

  • Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns across a variety of channels.
  • Help create marketing materials, directly or with agency support.
  • Support the coordination and regular output of engaging marketing materials through all channels.
  • Maintain our brand, direct-to-consumer (D2C), and business-to-business (B2B) websites and retail platforms.
  • Help ensure our campaigns, product announcements, and day-to-day marketing activities are aligned across all channels, with coordinated communication to staff, consumers, retailers, press and media as required.
  • Maintain and help utilise our business and consumer CRM platforms.
  • Support the continued growth, relevance, and success of our artist and influencer programs, assisting with artist requests, instrument placements, and venue engagement.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to the marketing department.
  • Work with external agencies and partners as needed.

Qualifications and experience

We are looking for candidates with a variety of skills and experiences. Demonstrable copywriting ability alongside hands-on experience of a variety of digital platforms is extremely advantageous. Familiarity with multi-channel brand and/or distributor environments, and an interest in the musical instrument industry, are both beneficial.

  • Confidence in campaign management, website administration and content creation
  • Experience with Shopify and CMS platforms (A working knowledge of HTML and CSS is a bonus)
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop and InDesign
  • Hands-on digital marketing ability
  • Familiarity with business and consumer CRM tools such as HubSpot and Klaviyo
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Familiarity with project management tools
  • Strong communication skills, with discretion and confidentiality where required
  • Comfortable regularly moving between multiple activities and projects
  • Highly organised with a robust attention to detail

Location & working hours

The role is based at our head office in Milton Keynes where there is flexibility to work from home. To foster collaboration and team spirit, we expect employees to be in the office a minimum of three days per week.

This is a full-time position with standard working hours of 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, including a one-hour unpaid lunch break. As a dynamic role, occasional flexibility may be required to meet business demands. While the role demands dedication, we encourage a healthy work-life balance.
