Division Overview:
MI Strategy is a section of Yamaha Music UK handling Marketing and Promotions for Yamaha Music Instruments (MI) in the UK. Working alongside the Marketing Teams in Europe and UK Sale Teams to ensure that all Marketing & Sales Activities are delivered effectively. This includes B2B and B2C activities and communications.
Purpose of Role:
This position will lead the implementation of digital marketing strategy within the UK branch whilst supporting the marketing and sales team with expertise, insight, and analysis. This is a pivotal role in fostering an understanding of the importance of digital marketing, and its importance in sales generation. This role will connect the HQ strategy with the UK branch, whilst also seeking to develop a centre of excellence for digital innovation at a local level. This is an exciting opportunity to create and lead significant impact on the Yamaha brand in return for a unique and competitive offering.
Key Accountabilities and Duties:
• Executing Digital Marketing activities both B2B and B2C.
• Tracking and Analysing Key Dealer’s digital presence.
• Arranging meetings with key dealers with a focus on digital marketing.
• Working alongside HQ to contribute to maintain and optimize digital marketing strategy.
• Managing UK digital software (Loadbee, Argos A+, DotDigital, etc)
• Building email automations to retarget database.
• Coaching on opportunities in the digital space.
• Monitoring and influence Yamaha’s share of voice on dealer social media channels.
• Reporting on competitor share of voice on key dealer social media channels.
• Innovating data collection methods.
• Increasing Customer Database & Product Registrations
• Developing customer journey plans.
• Delivering training/support on digital platforms.
• Contributing effectively to all yearly planning meetings.
• Contributing to and supporting the execution of SEO / SEM / SM Campaigns.
• Assisting dealers with completing digital campaigns (Support, asset creation, and insight)
• Creating content for Yamaha websites / videos / newsletter etc.
• Working with Influencers/Press/Artists.
• Identifying trends and insights within the music industry and digital marketing.
• Ensure a professional corporate image is projected which promotes the Yamaha brand.
• Developing internal software/systems.
• SEO keyword gap analysis.
• Tracking/updating on consumer trends/behaviour.
• Occasionally work weekend on events /exhibitions
