Division Overview:
The Classic Division markets and promotes Piano, Electronic Keyboard and Band & Orchestral product catalogues to achieve sales and profit budgets.
Purpose of Role:
This role requires a flexible approach to working, including a degree of travel around the UK and into Europe, working from home and our offices in Milton Keynes. You will be part of a motivated marketing team, where you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing campaigns which supports the key areas of our product line up and includes close collaboration with, sales reps, dealers, artists, influencers and overseeing agencies, marketing and content creation.
Key Accountabilities and Duties:
• Working with the Business development managers to report on the Dealer Activity
and ROI.
• Working in the field with our Dealer network and Yamaha Music London to ensure
marketing Activity and sales potential are maximized. Including regular Marketing
meetings with Marketing Departments.
• Work closely with key stakeholders including Marketing Director, Sales Managers,
Sales Teams, Marketing Group Lead and internal teams with all actions and progress,
gaining feedback insights.
• Service local UK Artist Rosta including Artist Requests, instrument placement,
promotion opportunities, brand presence.
• Implement product launches into the Dealer Sales Channel, ensuring Sales &
Marketing activity is aligned. This includes supporting Dealer Marketing actions, Web
Content, Video, Displays, Demo’s etc.
• Support internal and external staff with in-depth product knowledge through regular
training sessions and circulation of product information.
• Develop the marketing strategy to generate sales across all relevant market sectors
with clear calls to action.
• Identify/Review any new opportunities in alignment with HQ.
• Support Globa/International Artist requirements as requested by other areas and
ensure promotional opportunity are optimised.
• Ensure Activity is in line with pan-European strategy and meets all KPI and Targets set
by HQ.

• Responsible for planning, controlling and reporting the marketing promotional budget
for the UK.
• Monitor the UK market, including competitor activity, in order to identify changes and
opportunities and adapt Yamaha strategies accordingly.
• Implement the marketing strategy to generate sales across all relevant market sectors
with a measured return on investment.
• Support our European HQ and other European branches through the sharing of best
practice and proactive communication
• Creation of Assets when required to support the Marketing output, making sure all
branding adheres to Yamaha Visual Identity and Brand considerations.
• Work alongside the Digital Marketing Specialist to ensure all Marketing Activity has
optimised Digital Reach. Including SEO/SEA, Video’s, SM Campaigns, targeting, Data
Collection, Registrations, Database growth and Newsletters etc.
• Plan physical event activity for selected products including shows, exhibitions, demo’s,
instore events etc. This includes content, style, layout, timing, targets and
measurables.
• Brief Events Specialist to implement and attend where appropriate.
• Responsible for controlling Marketing spend, ensuring projects are managed
efficiently and budgets adhered to.
• Responsible for the control of all Loan Stock, ensuring they are handled efficiently,
within budget with no overdue cases.
• Responsible for the control of all FOC, ensuring they are within budget and ROI is
maximised and reported.
• Create annual key dealer account marketing plan.
