Based in Liverpool, PMT are looking for a Customer Service Assistant.

In this role, you’ll enjoy the freedom and the support you need to make a great impact at PMT; establishing credibility with your peers in the team, delivering brilliant customer service and smashing your targets to earn more in your pay at the end of each month on our incentive program!
What you’ll do:
In three teams, you’ll work a flexible 40 hours per week rotating across a Monday to Sunday, with varied shift patterns between 8am – 6pm. During peak times, overtime is available at an enhanced rate.
You’ll be helping customers who need assistance or are having problems with their products or the service they have received. Each call can be very different. You might be helping a regular customer to order a particular product or assisting a new customer when their expectations have not been met.
It’s not an easy job. There, we said it. Customers can sometimes be frustrated and upset when the product or service is not as they expected. So, it’ll be your job to diffuse the situation, ease the tension and get the problem solved.
You’ll take ownership and ensure that all of the appropriate administration is complete and recorded to put things right for our customers.
You’ll need to be:
- able to get on well with people
- confident to have difficult conversations
- respectful of other people’s point of view
- not easily upset or offended by others
- able to think quickly and be calm
- genuinely motivated to help people and solve problems
- willing to learn about our products
- at ease in a high-pressured, fast-paced office environment
- confident in your numeracy and literacy skills
- comfortable using IT Systems including Microsoft Office, Gmail, etc.
- within travelling distance to our Liverpool (Speke) office
Where you’ll work:
Your base will be in Speke, Liverpool, with free parking onsite and Hunts Cross station a ten-minute walk away.
