Retail Team Leader – Glasgow (Full-Time)
Location: Glasgow Store
About the Role:
As part of the Store Management Team, you will oversee the day to day operations of our team of experts providing coaching, guidance and feedback to deliver outstanding service to our customers face to face, on the phone and via email and social media.
You will coach and develop our staff by empowering them to confidently make the right decisions and think commercially, ensure SLAs are maintained and that we meet our own standards with regards to THE speed, quality, accuracy and consistency of service we provide the musicians who visit our stores.
Leading by example, you will demonstrate what we expect from the Retail Team; delivering the highest standards of sales and customer service and being ambassadors for the guitarguitar brand.
You will take ownership and responsibility for escalations with a customer-focused approach to finding great solutions and ensuring customer retention.
We are looking for people who have excellent communication skills and enjoy interacting with others as well as possessing a keen eye for opportunities to make sales. Ideally you will already play an instrument and are both knowledgeable and passionate about guitars and the products we sell as well as empowering the guitarists and musicians of today and tomorrow.

As a member of our sales team, you will represent both guitarguitar, the UK’s biggest guitar retailer, and the legendary brands and manufacturers we partner with.
Essential to this role is an ability to sell, demonstrate products and excite and inspire the loyal customers who visit our stores and who make our business what it is.
You will be working directly under the supervision of our Store Manager.
A Successful Candidate Will:
- Have a great understanding and knowledge of guitars, other stringed instruments and everything someone would need to play live and record their music.
- Excel at demonstrating products to a good standard and always aim to inspire beginners and experienced musicians alike.
- Be confident dealing with our customers face-to-face, on the telephone, via email, and across social media.
- Be proactive in learning new products as and when they are released in order to keep up with an ever evolving market.
- Be passionate about making guitarguitar an outstanding place to visit for all things music-related.
- Take pride in finding great solutions for customers and working as part of a fantastic team.
Ongoing training will be provided to the successful candidate in any product areas that are required as well as on all company procedures, systems and practices.

Location: Newcastle or Glasgow (On site and remote hybrid)
About this role:
As part of the online management team, you will oversee the day to day operations of our team of experts providing coaching, guidance and feedback to deliver outstanding service to our customers through email, social media, phone and LiveChat.
You will coach and develop our staff by empowering them to confidently make the right decisions and think commercially.
Ensure SLAs are maintained and that we meet our own standards with regards to speed, quality, accuracy and consistency of the service we provide our customers.
Leading by example, you will demonstrate what we expect from the Online Team; delivering the highest standards of sales and customer service and being ambassadors for the guitarguitar brand.
Take ownership and responsibility for first line escalations with a customer-focused approach to find an amicable solution and increase customer retention.

Warehouse Operative – Linwood Warehouse and HQ (Full-Time)
Location: Linwood Warehouse and HQ, Renfrewshire
We are looking for a member of staff to join our team in the company’s Warehouse in Linwood.
About The Role:
This is a role at the hub of our growing online business; picking, packing and shipping online orders direct to our customers, handling deliveries of every size from a single box to a 40ft container, dispatching stock to our six stores nationwide as well as maintaining and managing our vast inventory of stock.
A Successful Candidate Will Have:
- significant experience working in a Warehousing, logistics or fulfilment environment
- excellent communication skills
- good working knowledge of the types of stock we specialise in
- good understanding of the fundamentals of safe working practices and Health and Safety
Numeracy and computer literacy is essential due to the use of our in-house stock management and order fulfilment systems that will make up a large part of the role.
A Fork-lift Driver’s Licence would be desirable but not essential as full training and certification will be provided.
The successful applicant must be flexible, and will be required to work 5 days out of 7, including weekends on a rotational basis.
The role reports to guitarguitar’s Warehouse Manager.
