Fender announces the launch of the Chrome Cobalt P&J Pickup Set, allowing players to unlock the full tonal potential of their P/J Bass.
Voiced by tone guru, Tim Shaw, the Cobalt Chrome bass pickups use Fender’s own proprietary blend of a FeCrCo magnet that brings added punch, hi-fi clarity and dynamic range for players looking to define their own sound.
The set includes a split-coil Precision Bass® middle pickup and Jazz Bass® bridge pickup for one of the most versatile tone combinations available. The distinctive-looking chrome-ringed cover acts as a shield to help eliminate 60-cycle hum, making these pickups a remarkably quiet split-coil option.
