Whilst the original locking nut was designed to clamp the strings in place securing tuning when performing vigorous vibrato techniques, guitar players have always been aware of the time-consuming procedure when changing strings and not being able to access headstock machine heads.

With ‘Advance Slot Design’, Graph Tech’s new Un-lock Nut allows all the original functionality, string behaviour and performance benefits of traditional locking vibrato nuts, whilst ensuring stability within stable tuning and accurate intonation, allowing the player speedy string changes on stage and the ability to operate both, traditional fine tuning at the bridge and unlocked access to the headstock machine heads.
Looking sleek and stylish crafted from Black TUSQ XL infused with triple self-lubrication properties for a friction-free glide, additional benefits include extended ramps evenly distributing string stress and the allowance of individual string height adjustments.
