Crafted from a mahogany Dinky body with a breathtaking flame maple or solid top, the DK24 delivers a punchy tone with solid high-end response and a touch of brightened treble.
Designed for the modern guitarist, the instrument features a scalloped lower back bout and a sculpted shredder’s cut heel, engineered for effortless upper fret access and smooth lead playing.
The bolt-on wenge neck is reinforced with graphite for rock-solid stability, complemented by a hand-rubbed oil finish on the back for a luxurious feel. The innovative heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel allows for quick and easy neck relief tweaks, ensuring optimal playability. The 12”-16” compound radius wenge fingerboard further enhances its aesthetic appeal, boasting 24 jumbo stainless steel frets, pearl dot inlays, and a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut.
At the heart of the MJ DK24’s sonic capabilities lies an HSH pickup configuration, featuring a custom Seymour Duncan Full Shred TB-10 humbucking bridge pickup, a Seymour Duncan Custom Flat Strat SSL-6 middle pickup, and a custom Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro APH-1N humbucking neck pickup. This combination delivers focused humbucker tones with a perfectly balanced treble and bass response, alongside a sparkly vintage snap that will inspire any player.
