Frederick Hyde releases new Sonix SXP series digital pianos

Frederick Hyde is excited to announce the release of its all-new Sonix SXP series digital pianos.

This range, comprising the portable SXP8, the compact SXP9, and the premium SXP20, offers a perfect blend of reliability and versatility for pianists of all skill levels. From sleek portable designs to elegant console models, the SXP series promises an enjoyable playing and learning experience at a remarkable value.

At the heart of the SXP range is a commitment to combining reliable performance and elegant design with consistent affordability. The new models incorporate graded hammer action keyboards, extensive sound libraries, and a refined aesthetic.

The SXP series also prioritises versatility, catering to everyone from beginners to experienced players. An assured focus on educational features such as Duet Mode for lessons, convenient headphone outputs, and simple control panels ensures that all three models provide an enjoyable and frustration-free experience for students, teachers, and casual enthusiasts alike.

The Sonix SXP8 is the portable option, featuring a full length, touch sensitive, graded hammer action keyboard and two 25W speakers for powerful sound doing justice to all 90 on-board voices, including the specially sampled Stereo Grand Piano voice. The SXP8 is also equipped with MIDI Bluetooth connectivity, an excellent feature for composing work. With the option to buy the keyboard alone, or along with a stand and bench for a more permanent fixture, the SXP8 is an adaptable choice for serious learners, or experienced players looking for a portable budget option.

The Sonix SXP9 offers sophisticated sound and response at a terrific price point, also with 88 velocity sensitive keys and a graded hammer action. This model includes 32 instrument voices and 16 demo songs, supported by 81-note polyphony. It boasts both Bluetooth MIDI and audio functionality, as well as ports for two headphones connections and a USB port. Designed to blend effortlessly with any interior, the SXP9 comes in black and rosewood finishes and features an elegant console cabinet with chrome-plated accents, and a matching bench.

The Sonix SXP20 represents the pinnacle of the new SXP range. Designed as a premium digital upright, it offers 189-note polyphony and an expansive cabinet with four finely tuned stereo speakers, resulting in powerful and immersive concert-hall sound. Key features include a discreet sliding control panel, Bluetooth MIDI functionality, and an elegant black satin woodgrain finish, making it as much a stylish furniture piece as a functional instrument. The SXP20 comes with a matching bench featuring a lift-up storage compartment, adding a touch of extra convenience to its polished design.
