Has 2024 been a year to remember, or one you’ll be glad to see the back of?
2024 has been a bag of mixed emotions on many levels and defiantly one to never forget, for many different reasons.
Some highlights include the establishment of Algam Ashdown (which you can read about here):
“Following a decades-long friendship with the Garnier family, the team behind amplification specialists Ashdown Engineering has established Algam Ashdown, the British arm of the highly successful pan-European music products and event technology distribution company.”
and the launch of the brand new KT and SX ranges of guitar amps, which you can read about here for the KT, and here for the SX.
What has been the biggest challenge this year?
Establishing Algam Ashdown in the UK, building on developing new relationships within the group and further afield.
What is one moment from 2024 that makes you smile when you think about it?
Being invited to watch Pantera side of stage at this years Download Festival or Sir Paul McCartney in Paris…
What’s the one thing you didn’t get around to in 2024 that is top of your to-do list for 2025?
A strong Artist push for both Ashdown & Lag in the UK.

What’s the one food that you can’t do without at this time of year?
Sausage rolls
What does Christmas day look like for you?
Kids & Family, up early with the boys, breakfast at home then over to the grandparents for the rest of the day, then home early evening and a nice movie before the day is done…
