Regrettably, we must report details of a theft at Just Flutes in London. In the early hours of Saturday 6th September, at approximately 2:45am, the shop was broken into in what appears to have been a highly organised burglary. The intruders gained access through the back of the premises by forcibly removing a window and the iron bars behind it. They went on to cut through two stud walls and destroy a set of locked inner doors, all without triggering the alarm system, which they had clearly taken steps to avoid. CCTV footage shows at least one individual inside the shop, with strong suspicion of an accomplice waiting outside. The incident has been reported to the police.

A detailed stock list with serial numbers of the stolen items has been compiled, with the primary focus of the theft being clarinets, though a number of saxophones were also taken. Most of the items taken were the Buffet Crampon brand. Because of the planned nature of the theft, and the very specific inventory of products taken it is very possible the stolen goods have already been moved on, however if you think you may have been contacted about the stolen items please contact the MIA for more details.
